Coverage from Your Former Employer

Some employers offer coverage to their retirees. If you receive your retiree health plan coverage through your or your spouse's former employer, please make sure that you contact Tufts Medicare Preferred at 1-800-890-6600, to find out if your employer is offering our HMO, PDP, or Medicare Supplement plan options.

If you have coverage from an employer or union, joining Tufts Medicare Preferred may change how your current coverage works. Read the communications your employer or union sends you. If you have questions, visit your former employer's website, or contact the office listed in their communications. Some employers may require you to mail your application to them.
